Board Member

As Collin County President of Benchmark Bank, Habitat Board member Laurie Pool has dedicated her career to fostering trust with our customers, supporting local business growth, and partnering with business owners and families. With over 23 years in banking services, her expertise includes residential and construction lending, including retail, office, industrial, multifamily, and medical.

Laurie’s leadership philosophy centers on personalized service, strategic problem solving, and transparency. She believes that community banks play a vital role in economic development and she loves her talented team who are committed to delivering exceptional value and customized solutions to our clients.  Laurie partners with local business owners to achieve business goals, serve the bank customers with a personal touch, and promote financial literacy in our community.

Outside of work, Laurie is actively involved in local organizations and strives to create meaningful partnerships that strengthen our region. She’s been involved with Habitat for Humanity of Collin County since 2009.  

Laurie is a proud mom of three grown children - Maddie 28, Bumper 25, and Harper 23.  In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, watching sports (she’s an avid football fan), playing games, and most recently, she’s become addicted to playing pickleball!
