Scott Elliott served in various IT leadership roles for 30 years, and moved to McKinney in 2009.  Scott was a member of the 2012 Leadership McKinney class, and served on the McKinney Community Development Corporation board for four years, the last two as Chair.  He was elected to the McKinney City Council representing District 3 in 2017, and served until 2021.  He was Executive Director at Community Lifeline Center from 2019 to 2022.  Effective February 2022, Scott became Executive Director at One Heart McKinney.

 Scott co-leads and co-teaches a class at Cottonwood Creek church, and his hobbies include golf, working out,  and racquet sports.  Scott and his wife Linda have been married for 42 years.  They have three daughters, three sons-in-law, and four grandsons.  His grandfather call sign is ‘Poppo’.
